Service Technician - Lisburn

We're Hiring: Service Technician (Agricultural/Plant/Automotive)

Do you have mechanical experience in automotive, plant, or agricultural machinery?

Due to expansion, STEPHEN W MOORE LTD - T/A Johnston Gilpin & Co and Stephen Moore Farm Machinery are recruiting skilled Service Technicians for roles based from our Lisburn and Coleraine branches.

What you'll do:

✅ Carry out diagnostics, service, and repairs on a wide range of equipment

✅ Perform maintenance and pre-delivery setups on new & used machinery

✅ Complete job cards, timesheets, and service reports accurately

✅ Work both in the workshop and on-site when needed

✅ Help keep the workshop organised and safe

✅ Support apprentices and team members when required

✅ Continue growing your skills through training programs

What we're looking for:

✅ Mechanical background (automotive, plant, agricultural, or similar)

✅ Experience with diagnostics, electrical, hydraulic & mechanical systems

✅ Ability to use technical tools, service software & standard computer applications

✅ Strong problem-solving skills and customer focus

✅ Team player with a positive attitude

✅ Full driving licence (forklift licence an advantage)

✅ Willingness to work extended hours or weekends when required
