Parts Advisor – Lisburn Depot

Location: Lisburn, Northern Ireland
Department: Aftermarket
Reports To: Parts Outlet Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our team at the Lisburn Depot. In this key role, you will be responsible for the selling, receiving, and delivery of parts and accessories, while delivering exceptional in-store customer service. This is a hands-on position that also involves merchandising, stock control, and supporting service technicians to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and sell parts and services to meet customer needs and grow sales.
• Supply service technicians with the correct parts efficiently and accurately.
• Receive, verify, and organize incoming shipments, including Machine Down and Stock Orders.
• Assist in the development and execution of parts marketing campaigns.
• Maintain merchandise displays and showroom layout to enhance customer experience and increase profitability.
• Organize and promote retail areas to encourage impulse purchases.
• Follow up on parts shortages and escalate issues where necessary.
• Maintain accurate records for inventory, invoicing, and other admin duties.
• Keep the parts area clean, orderly, and well organized.
• Use merchandising and retailing principles to improve showroom appeal and product turnover.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of agricultural equipment and the farming industry.
• Ability to use standard computer applications and internet functions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with John Deere and competitive parts/products is an advantage.
• A strong team player with the ability to work independently when required.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when necessary.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Trailer licence is beneficial but not essential.
