DeLaval Regional Sales Specialist

Role Description

Stephen Moore Farm Machinery are looking for a sales specialist for Capital Goods. The right person will be a motivated, driven, self-starter ready to hunt sales and deliver results, with a particular interest in robotic milking systems.

Responsibilities

 Develop and grow sales strategy for given geographical area

Grow sales of VMS in the area

Build long term partnership with dairy farmers

Price, produce quotes and close sales of capital goods equipment

Fulfil targets/budget, monitor and analyse the sales set-up and outcome.

Provide content for Social Media channels and help with organising Open Days & Customer Trips.

Strong ambassador of DeLaval brand 

Required qualifications and skills

Sales and economic knowledge

Basic Dairy farm understanding

Relevant work experience

Good people skills

Good communication skillsAbility to build strong relationships/partnerships

Good problem-solving and analytical skills

Structured and well organised

Good English, Math and IT skills

Must possess a valid driver´s license

Knowledge of DeLaval solutions would be an advantage

Location

The role will predominantly cover Antrim, Down, Armagh & County Derry/Londonderry. You will be required to occasionally attend meetings/trainings nationally.
